The Outlaw Jody Wales

Jody grew up immersed in classic rock and metal courtesy of her parents before discovering industrial, electronica and EDM in the nineties. She cut her teeth DJing around this time before starting producing in 2000.

It remained largely as a hobby for several years despite remixing such artists as Madonna, Pitchshifter and Nine Inch Nails, and only became a full time thing when she transitioned. She now produces her own blend of dirty and sexy electronica with a rock n roll attitude, as well as composing music and sound design for games.

A passionate activist for trans and LGBT rights, she believes trans representation in the music industry is woefully low and seeks to raise the profile of all trans artists.
